When Google teamed up with Air New Zealand and the Department of Conservation to launch seven of New Zealand’s Great Walks on Google Maps, we saw an opportunity to bring the country’s stunning outdoor environment to life in front of audiences the world over.

We produced an immersive video showcasing some our most iconic landscapes, which was featured on national TV news networks and shared hundreds of thousands of times on social media following the launch.

Combined with strong news coverage across national print, radio and online media, we ensured this immersive technology got the attention it genuinely deserved.
